Utilizing a Landsky 2460 double-layer banana screen machine, the client was initially equipped with polyurethane screen panels. The wet nature of the iron ore led to significant blockage and hardening, necessitating manual cleaning of the screen panels every two hours a tedious and inefficient process.

Innovating for Impact: The Strudex Solution

Understanding the critical nature of the challenge, Strudex's team of experts designed and installed 20 pieces of highly elastic and wear-resistant rubber screen panels for trial. These panels, boasting a hardness of 40 Shore A, were crafted from high-resilience natural rubber, incorporating a steel frame for enhanced support. A specialized adhesive was employed in the vulcanization and rubber injection process, ensuring the panels were perfectly suited to tackle the issue of wet material clogging.

Unprecedented Results: Zero Clogging, Enhanced Durability

The trial, initiated on June 6, yielded remarkable results. Within a month, the client reported an almost zero clogging rate, a significant improvement from the previous setup. Moreover, after 13 months of rigorous use, the panels exhibited only slight wear, surpassing the expectations of the on-site staff. This durability is particularly impressive considering the machine's operational capacity of 680 tons per hour over 16 hours daily, with maintenance scheduled every two months.
